Davis Polk partners Neil Barr, Michael Farber, Kathleen Ferrell and Mario Verdolini will be among the participants at the New York State Bar Association Tax Section’s Annual Meeting. Michael Farber serves as Chair of the Tax Section.

Neil Barr will chair the “Selected Topics in Corporate Taxation” panel, which will review selected current development and other topics relevant to corporate tax.

Kathleen Ferrell will chair the “Comprehensive Reform of the U.S. International Tax System” panel, which will focus on the international aspects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Mario Verdolini will speak on the “Is Voluntary Compliance Becoming Less Voluntary? A Whistleblower Case Study and Other Tax Compliance Topics” panel, which will discuss ethical issues related to the discovery, correction and prevention of tax non-compliance.

The program will be held on January 23, 2018, in New York.
