On May 24, 2023, Davis Polk partner and Finance practice co-head Jason Kyrwood and partners Vanessa Jackson and Ken Steinberg will be among the speakers at Practising Law Institute’s “Leveraged Financing 2023” program. Jason is serving as a chairperson and will deliver opening remarks. He will also speak on the “Leveraged Financing in 2023,” “Navigating Challenging Leveraged Financing Markets,” and “Liability Management Leveraged Financing Transactions” panels.

Partner Vanessa Jackson will speak on the “Financing an Acquisition Using Leveraged Financing” panel. Topics to be discussed include perspectives on strategies and experiences navigating challenging loan market conditions and how terms and participants have changed in light of a more challenging syndicated loan market environment. 

Partner Ken Steinberg will also speak on the “Liability Management Leveraged Financing Transactions” panel, which will discuss the basic anatomy of a typical liability management transaction, latest trends in liability management transactions and the “second wave” of cases directly impacting these transactions.
