On June 14, 2024, Davis Polk counsel Lisa Ogust Cammer will be among the speakers at the Practising Law Institute’s 2024 “Understanding the Securities Laws” program. Lisa will speak on the “Securities Law Aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Other Corporate Transactions” panel. Topics discussed will include how to review third-party tender offers, analyze the interrelationship of securities laws with state corporate laws and stock exchange requirements, examine issuer tender offers and going-private transactions, and understand fairness and other opinions in securities filings.
