Margaret Tahyar testifies at bank regulatory hearing before House committee
Davis Polk partner and Financial Institutions practice head Margaret Tahyar will testify before the House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Financial Institutions at a hearing on “Regulatory Overreach: The Price Tag on American Prosperity.” The hearing will explore reforms to increase accountability in bank supervision and enhance interagency coordination, with the goal of establishing a more efficient and tailored regulatory framework that reflects the size and complexity of financial institutions while preserving financial stability and public trust.
The hearing will be held at 10 am ET on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Washington DC.
