On April 17, 2024, Davis Polk partner Zach Zweihorn was among the speakers at the Financial Markets Associations’ 33rd annual Securities Compliance Seminar. Zach moderated the “Regulatory Changes Driving Market Structure” panel, which provided an overview of the many regulatory proposals issued or adopted by the SEC and other financial regulators since January 2022 related to the operations of the securities market, changes in how various types of financial markets participants may be classified, and the changes to market structure and business practices that the regulatory changes may drive.
