Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Analyst to oversee and execute a broad range of responsibilities supporting the firm’s accounting department. This role ensures the accuracy and compliance of data and processes across various financial systems applications and the HR department.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Employee Data Management

  • Review, validate, and update employee data for hires, rehires, promotions, and changes, ensuring compliance with firm rules and guidelines.
  • Manage and validate critical data points ensuring accuracy for billing rates, timekeeper classifications, and reporting.
  • Maintain and update employee status logs and revalue time entries as needed.
  • Assign, remove, and update permissions for new hires and existing employees in Aderant, including security groups, workflow groups, and proxy permissions.
  • Oversee daily integration reports, reviewing and validating changes while making necessary adjustments.

Workflow Support/Administration

  • Handle inquiries and issues related the file opening process, providing end-to-end support to users. Assist the workflow team with troubleshooting bugs experienced by users. Conduct thorough reviews of existing workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and support project delivery.
  • Develop, update, and maintain workflow documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flowcharts, and instructional materials.
  • Maintain version control and track updates to various Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
Qualifications / Position Requirements
  • Strong experience with human resources systems (Workday preferred), financial systems (Aderant experience is a plus), and data validation processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on cross-departmental coordination. 
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
Compensation

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 - $90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Davis Polk offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
