Manager, Financial Systems
Monday through Friday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm (overtime as required)
The Business Analyst (BA) reports to the Manager, Financial Systems and will serve as a bridge between various systems stakeholders and the Financial Systems team. This role will ensure that solutions created by the team meet business needs and add value to the firm.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. Document detailed solution specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of the solutions.
- Work with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Facilitate meetings and document comprehensive minutes to accurately record key milestones and decisions.
- Support the financial systems team’s initiatives by assessing the impact of new solutions on business processes.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
- Develop user stories, process flows, and wire-frames to visualize and refine requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new applications or systems.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with documentation and testing methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ year experience in a similar position
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
