Manager, HRIS
Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (overtime as required).
The Specialist, Learning Management Systems position is responsible for administration, configuration, and ownership of Workday Learning Management, including compliance training, tracking and talent and learning programming. This includes learning system design and foundation to support future learning initiatives. This position serves as a key strategic partner of Talent Management, Professional Development, IT Training, and additional cross-functions.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide general and organizational support to HR COEs and business users.
- Hands on Workday Learning configuration and administration across various employee types and populations.
- Partner with HRIS, Talent, ER/Compliance, Professional Development, IT Training, and additional COEs and business users to increase learning management capabilities and offering.
- Support new and existing HR technology related projects and initiatives including cyclical and ongoing talent and rewards processes via embedded learning and training opportunities.
- Responsible for ongoing recommendations to support enhancements, new features, and capabilities to expand learning management functionality and impact.
- Manage and maintain learning documentation, resources, and training materials to continuously support HR users, employees and managers.
- Assist with Workday release management processes including the testing and enablement of the semi-annual release cycle and additional updates to features throughout the year.
- Support various Workday onboarding activities including opportunities across new hire and active employee training.
- Creation and management of required Learning reporting to effectively support and measure learning programming and engagement initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested for successful operation of the department.
- Advanced knowledge of Workday Learning.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, including standard and complex projects and tasks.
- Ability to respond effectively and professionally to HRIS and Learning related requests.
- Proven experience with learning management administration of compliance training, soft skills, engagement, total rewards, and additional learning programming.
- Must demonstrate consistent initiative and collaboration skills to succeed and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate and support a diverse group of learning stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications as needed.
- Flexibility in daily schedule to accommodate unexpected situations.
- Ability to adapt with shifting business priorities as needed.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Information Systems, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience working directly within or partnering closely with an HRIS team
- Minimum 3+ years’ working within Human Resources in a learning management capacity
- Strong level of proficiency in Workday Learning
- Experience in additional modules a plus
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
