Davis Polk advised the sole solicitation agent in connection with a solicitation of consents by China Evergrande Group from the holders of its (i) 8.75% senior notes due 2018, (ii) 12.0% senior notes due 2020, (iii) 7.8% senior notes due 2019 and (iv) 8.0% senior notes due 2019 to certain amendments under the indentures governing such notes.  

China Evergrande Group, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is one of the largest developers of residential property projects in different cities across China. Founded in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in 1996, it has become a leading national property developer in China through its economies of scale and widely recognized brand name.
