Cornell Capital’s Corelle Brands to merge with Instant Brands
Davis Polk is advising Cornell Capital LLC on the merger of its portfolio company, Corelle Brands LLC, with Instant Brands, Inc. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2019. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded by Henry Cornell, Cornell Capital is a private investment firm that takes a value-driven approach to investing. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Instant Brands specializes in designing and marketing innovative small kitchen appliances for busy home cooks who live a health-conscious and eco-friendly lifestyle. Headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, Corelle Brands manufactures and markets products worldwide through a portfolio of well-recognized and respected brands, including Pyrex, Corelle, CorningWare, Snapware, Chicago Cutlery and Olfa.
