Davis Polk Advises IHS Markit Ltd. on Its $1.25 Billion Senior Notes Offering
Davis Polk advised IHS Markit Ltd. in connection with its SEC-registered offering of $1.25 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes in two series, consisting of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 4.125% senior notes due 2023 and $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.750% senior notes due 2028. IHS Markit intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include financing a portion of the cash consideration payable for its acquisition of Ipreo and paying down amounts outstanding under its term loan and revolving credit facility.
