Davis Polk advised Rumo S.A. in connection with the offering by Rumo of 220,000,000 common shares for an aggregate amount of R$2.6 billion (approximately $780 million). The common shares trade on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. Common shares sold in the international offering were placed under Rule 144A and Regulation S.

Based in Brazil, Rumo is the largest intermodal logistics operator in Latin America, focusing on rail transportation, warehousing, operation of terminals and other logistics services.
