Ding sale of majority stake to Pollen Street Capital
We are advising Ding and its founder on the transaction
We are advising Ding and its founder, Mark Roden, in connection with the sale of a majority stake in the company to Pollen Street Capital and, in partnership with Pollen Street Capital, a substantial investment from Mark Roden. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The transaction is expected to complete in September.
Founded in 2006 by Mark Roden and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Ding is the global leader in international top-up and credit transfers, offering customers the ability to top-up online, on the Ding app, via partners through the Ding API and in over 600,000 retail stores all over the world. Ding now serves millions of customers around the world – who have sent almost a half a billion tops-ups. Pollen Street Capital is an independent, alternative investment management company focused on the financial and business services sector. It was established in 2013 and operates across private equity and credit strategies on behalf of investors including leading pension funds, asset managers, banks and family offices from around the world.
