The common shares are listed on the São Paulo Stock Exchange

Davis Polk advised the international placement agents in connection with an equity offering by Companhia Brasileira de Distribuição (d/b/a GPA) of 220,000,000 common shares for an aggregate amount of approximately R$704 million. The common shares trade on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. The securities sold in the international offering were placed under section 4(a)(2) under the Securities Act and under Regulation S.

GPA is a leading company in the premium supermarket and proximity store segment in the retail sector in Brazil through 696 multiformat stores under the following banners: Pão de Açúcar, Minuto Pão de Açúcar, Extra Mercado and Mini.
