Davis Polk is advising the joint lead arrangers, joint bookrunners and administrative agent in connection with a $5.2 billion bridge loan facility to be provided to the J. M. Smucker Company in connection with its proposed acquisition of Hostess Brands.

The J. M. Smucker Company is a leading consumer packaged goods company with a diverse product portfolio that includes brands such as Folgers, Café Bustelo, Jif, Smucker’s Uncrustables, Meow Mix and Milk-Bone. 

Hostess Brands is a leading sweet snacks company focused on developing, manufacturing, marketing, selling and distributing snacks in North America primarily under the Hostess and Voortman brands.
