Davis Polk advised the underwriter in connection with the $127.5 million SEC-registered follow-on offering of 1,552,500 shares of common stock of Kemper Corporation (which included 202,500 additional shares that were purchased pursuant to the underwriter’s option to purchase additional shares). The common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “KMPR.”

Kemper Corporation, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a diversified insurance holding company, with subsidiaries that provide automobile, homeowners, life, health and other insurance products to individuals and businesses.
