Lydall $1.3 billion acquisition by Unifrax

Davis Polk is advising Lydall, Inc. in connection with its approximately $1.3 billion acquisition by Unifrax, which is backed by Clearlake Capital. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2021 and is subject to the receipt of required regulatory approvals, approvals of Lydall stockholders and other customary closing conditions.

Unifrax is a leading global supplier of high-performance specialty materials used in thermal management, specialty filtration, battery materials, emission control and fire protection applications.
