We advised Plaza on its equity offering

Davis Polk advised Plaza S.A. in connection with an offering of 136,339,452 common shares for an aggregate offering amount of approximately Ch$182.7 billion (approximately $190 million). The common shares trade on the Santiago Stock Exchange. The securities sold in the international offering were placed in reliance on certain exemptions from the registration requirements of the Securities Act.

Headquartered in Santiago, Chile, Plaza S.A. is one of the largest mall operators in Latin America. Its portfolio consists of 26 malls across Chile, Peru and Colombia under the “Mallplaza” brand.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partners Manuel Garciadiaz and Maurice Blanco and counsel Konstantinos Papadopoulos. The tax team included partner Mario J. Verdolini and associates Charles Collier and Nancy B. Regan. Members of the Davis Polk team are based in the New York and Sao Paulo offices.
