Raízen $225 million notes reopening
Davis Polk advised Raízen Fuels Finance S.A., as issuer and Raízen Combustiveis S.A. and Raízen Energia S.A., as guarantors, in connection with Raízen Fuels’ $225 million reopening of its 5.300% senior notes due 2027, which were issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act.
Raízen is a joint venture between Cosan S.A. and Royal Dutch Shell plc. Raízen Combustíveis is primarily engaged in the distribution and sale of ethanol and other fuels as well as the sale, import and export of natural gas, automotive lubricants and other products. Raízen Energia is primarily engaged in the production and sale of sugar and ethanol and cogeneration of electricity.
