We advised Rockefeller Group on a construction loan and joint venture

Davis Polk advised affiliates of Rockefeller Group in connection with a construction loan. Rockefeller Group plans to build a 60-story mixed-use skyscraper, totaling over 220,000 square feet of rentable space, at 1072 West Peachtree Street NW in the Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. In connection with the transaction, Davis Polk also advised Rockefeller Group on the formation of a joint venture among affiliates of Rockefeller Group (including an affiliate of Mitsubishi Estate New York) and Taisei Corporation.

Rockefeller Group is a leading U.S. real estate developer, owner and operator known for pioneering large-scale urban mixed-use development. The company began with the development of Rockefeller Center.

Mitsubishi Estate New York promotes the development of office, residential, industrial and mixed-use projects all across the country.

Taisei is a leading Japanese construction and civil engineering company that builds commercial and public projects.
