We advised Vinci Partners on the private placement

Davis Polk advised Vinci Partners Investments Ltd. on its $100 million private placement of convertible preferred shares to an affiliate of Ares Management Corporation and the formation of a strategic partnership between Vinci Partners and an affiliate of Ares to accelerate the growth of Vinci’s platform in Latin America and to collaborate on distribution, product development and other business opportunities. 

Vinci Partners is a leading alternative investment platform in Brazil, established in 2009. Vinci Partners’ business segments include private equity, public equities, real estate, credit, infrastructure, special situations, hedge funds, investment products and solutions and retirement services, each managed by dedicated investment teams with an independent investment committee and decision-making process. The company also has a financial advisory business, focusing mostly on pre-IPO and M&A advisory services for Brazilian middle-market companies.
