In the article, Hall discusses the need for the SEC to give clarity on its regulation of digital assets, examined through the lens of the agency’s decision to file a suit against Ripple Labs over its cryptocurrency XRP. He noted that cryptocurrency is here to stay, and that the SEC’s incoming leadership will have to grapple with the current cloudiness of its regulatory status.
