United States Disclosure Standards for Banks

We will not pretend that US disclosure standards are easy. It is the primary argument of this article, however, that they are not as difficult or impractical as many fear. By the beginning of 1998, 37 foreign banks from a wide range of countries has publicly-listed securities on the NYSE.
