Patrick represents publicly traded and privately held companies and private funds with respect to U.S. federal income taxation in domestic and international contexts. His practice spans domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; restructurings and reorganizations; spinoffs and splitoffs; and the formation and operation of joint ventures, private equity funds, hedge funds and REITs.
He also works in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate finance, securities offerings, cryptocurrencies and other digital assets.
