Davis Polk partner Dan Stipano was quoted in Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence on sanctions against Russia and the compliance issues involved. “My sense is that there will be continued challenges with respect to Russia sanctions compliance, although the situation has stabilized somewhat since early in 2022. I do think that this will be a continued area of regulatory focus in 2023, with particular emphasis on sanctions evasion,” Dan explained.
