Davis Polk Tax Department head David Schnabel was quoted in Law360 discussing federal tax regulations to watch in 2021. Schnabel noted that tax practitioners have been waiting to see whether the IRS will finalize the proposed regulations under Section 382 without significant modifications, which could be damaging to the economy, given the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
