The Latin Lawyer recognized Davis Polk with two 2019 Deal of the Year Awards. The awards recognize complex deals, taking into consideration the value, timeframe, legal creativity, political and regulatory sensitivity and number of jurisdictions to which the deal relates.

Davis Polk was honored for its role advising on the Restructuring Deal of the Year, the $20 billion restructuring of Brazilian telecommunications provider Oi S.A, Latin America’s largest restructuring, as well as the Capital Markets Deal of the Year, PagSeguro Digital’s $2.6 billion initial public offering.

The winners were honored at Latin Lawyer’s Deal of the Year Awards charity dinner on April 10, 2019, in São Paulo.
