Derek Dostal quoted in IFLR on SPAC IPOs and the U.S. Presidential Election
Davis Polk partner Derek Dostal was quoted in a recent article in International Financial Law Review discussing the special purpose acquisition companies (“SPACs”) initial public offering market as the U.S. presidential election approaches. Dostal noted that saturation in the SPAC market, coupled with the election weeks away, means there has been a push in September and October to get deals done.
