The Recorder has named Davis Polk partner Emily Roberts a “Woman Leader in Tech Law” as part of the publication’s 2022 California Leaders in Tech Law and Innovation Awards. Women Leaders in Tech Law recognize the top women attorneys handling game-changing, law-shaping, market-moving work in and around the tech sector, whose recent achievements have contributed to progress at technology companies and in the law.

Emily has advised issuers and investment banks on high-profile and industry-shaping capital markets transactions within the tech space – such as the IPOs of Uber and Robinhood. She has also advised public and private tech companies on major M&A deals, including Lucid Motors on its merger with special-purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp IV, one of 2021’s largest SPAC mergers.

The 2022 California Leaders in Tech Law and Innovation Awards will be presented at an event in San Francisco on November 3, 2022.
