Davis Polk partner Jesse Solomon was quoted in The Deal discussing FTC Chair Lina Khan’s outreach to the public for comment on the proposed supermarket merger of Kroger and Albertsons. The FTC has hosted a series of listening forums to hear from those who have experienced firsthand the effects of mergers and acquisitions.

“It is unusual,” Jesse noted. “It’s also consistent with Khan’s efforts to host a number of workshops and listening sessions with consumers. She’s said that she is focused on hearing from the general public.”
