Davis Polk partner Michael Kaplan was quoted in Law360 on IPO activity in May. The article notes that though there are fewer IPOs compared to this time last year, several companies have filed confidentially with the SEC. “There’s a reasonable number of companies that are either publicly filed or could file relatively soon,” Michael said. “Whether they will or not, will be a function of market conditions.”

Davis Polk was also noted for working on the largest IPOs in May, including Bausch & Lomb’s IPO and Investcorp India Acquisition Corp.’s IPO.
