Davis Polk Madrid office head Michael Willisch was quoted in a Mergermarket article discussing key trends in the Iberian M&A space. Willisch noted that the pipeline for Iberian M&A in 2021 is looking healthy between the combination of access to financing and the increased need to sell. He also noted that international founders are drawn to Barcelona, an emerging tech hub, while the scene in Madrid and other cities, including Lisbon in Portugal, are growing.
