Davis Polk partner and Northern California office co-head Neal Potischman was featured in Silicon Valley Business Journal discussing potential trends in his practice, his career path and what he enjoys most about practicing in the Bay Area. On what trends we may see over the next few years in securities litigation, Neal said, “It is hard to imagine that there will not be a flurry of cases filed after companies that went public through SPACs run into their first existential challenges.”

When asked what makes the Bay Area legal community special, Neal said, “It may be cliché, but by virtue of dealing with amazing technology and life sciences companies, lawyers here have to be creative and adaptable. If you just want to keep doing the same thing year after year, you should probably practice somewhere else.”
