On March 7, 2024, Davis Polk partner Dan Kahn and counsel Bill Hochul will be among the speakers at the American Bar Association’s White Collar Crime 2024 Conference. The program will provide insights on significant legal developments as well as skills training in trial practice, antitrust enforcement and international extradition.

Dan will speak on the “Show Me the Money! Monetary Sanctions in Corporate Resolutions” panel. Topics discussed will include the various monetary components of corporate resolutions and obtaining the best results on behalf of a client with respect to penalties, forfeiture, disgorgement and restitution.

Bill will speak on the general counsel forum. Topics discussed will include the challenges facing general counsel in a rapidly changing regulatory environment, responding to investigations and requests for cooperation, strategies for handling privilege waivers, joint defense agreements, protective orders and relationships with the board, special committees and outside counsel during internal inquiries.
