On March 22, 2021, Davis Polk partner Dan Stipano will be among the speakers at the 21st Annual Florida International Bankers Association’s Anti-Money Laundering Conference. Stipano will speak on the virtual “2020 AML Year in Review – What to Make of All the Noise” panel. The panel will discuss FinCEN and the Federal Functional Regulators’ 2020 activity, which included issuing guidance, Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRs), advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) on “effective and reasonably designed” anti-money laundering programs, and the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020.
