Davis Polk partner and head of International Restructuring Tim Graulich, partner David Schiff and counsel Joanna McDonald will be among the speakers at INSOL International’s 2024 San Diego Conference.

On May 22, 2024, Tim will speak at the Financiers Round Table on a panel titled “Techniques and latest developments emerging in workouts.” Topics discussed will include third-party releases as part of restructuring plans and interactions between financial stakeholders in workout situations.

Additionally, Joanna will speak at the San Diego Offshore Meeting on a panel titled “Dividing the Pie: navigating new orders of priority and claims classification in wind-down scenarios.” Topics discussed will include some of the intricacies and challenges confronting offshore practitioners with respect to classification and valuation of unsecured claims.

On May 23, 2024, David will speak at the main San Diego conference on a panel titled “Liability management and creditor-on-creditor violence.” Panelists will discuss the structure of liability management transactions, and their impact on credit markets and bankruptcy cases, as well as the latest judicial decisions.
