On August 5 – 7, 2024, special counsel and emeritus Chair of Davis Polk’s Restructuring practice Don Bernstein and partner Christian Fischer will be among the speakers at NYU’s “Workshop on Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy.” The program will be organized by the Altman-Paulson Initiative on Financial Distress, Bankruptcy & Restructuring at the NYU Stern School of Business.  

Don will speak on the “Introduction to Bankruptcy” session, which will cover basic bankruptcy concepts, types of chapter 11 filings, bankruptcy powers, and the typical chapter 11 timeline.

Christian will speak on the “How to Read a Credit Agreement/Indenture” and “Hot Topics: Liability Management” sessions.
