On March 5, 2025, Davis Polk partner Kara Mungovan will be among the speakers at Practising Law Institute’s “Understanding the Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax (CAMT)” program. Kara will speak on the “Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax (CAMT) Scope and Adjusted Financial Statement Income (AFSI) Overview” panel. Topics discussed will include the differences between AFS and AFSI, how to advise CAMT entities with planning non-ordinary course transactions and how to identify situations where a client may be subject to CAMT.
