On July 23, 2022, Davis Polk partner Lucy Farr will be among the speakers at the New York State Bar Association Tax Section’s Summer Meeting 2022. Lucy will speak on the “Taxation of Digital Assets and Cryptocurrency” panel. Topics discussed will include the treatment of foreign digital asset traders, the tax treatment of staking rewards, proposals contained in the most recent Green Book and lesser-explored aspects of the ownership and use of digital assets.
