Davis Polk counsel Matt Yeowart will be among the speakers at Global Competition Review’s “GCR Live: Law Leaders Global 2025” program in Miami.

Matt will speak on the “Mergers: Trend towards consolidation and serial acquisitions: when are many acquisitions too many?” panel. Topics discussed will include:

  • Can and should a trend to consolidation and a history of serial acquisitions ultimately “carry the day” in court, or are these simply factors that can be added to more standard antitrust analyses?
  • What challenges exist both from a legal and an economic perspective in pursuing these analyses?
  • What is the current status of the enforcement landscape?

The program will be held on January 31, 2025, in Miami.
