We advised Black Spade, a SPAC, on its IPO and NYSE listing

Davis Polk advised Black Spade Acquisition Co. on its $150 million initial public offering of 15,000,000 units. Each unit had an initial offering price of $10 and consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant. The units, the shares and the warrants are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. 

Black Spade Acquisition Co. is a newly incorporated special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed for the purpose of effecting an initial business combination and intends to identify a business combination target that is related to or in the entertainment industry, with a focus on enabling technology, lifestyle brands, products or services and entertainment media in Asia.
