Davis Polk Advises Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. on Its Secondary Offering of Units
Davis Polk advised Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. in connection with an SEC-registered secondary offering by Qatar Holding LLC, as selling shareholder, of 80,000,000 units. The global offering was comprised of an international offering conducted by the international underwriters in the United States and elsewhere outside Brazil, and a Brazilian offering. In the international offering 58,000,000 units were offered in the form of American depositary shares, each of which represents one unit. In the Brazilian offering, 22,000,000 units were offered. The ADSs are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “BSBR.”
