HusCompagniet DKK 1.12 Billion IPO
Davis Polk advised HusCompagniet A/S on the initial public offering of 9,600,000 existing ordinary shares (excluding any overallotment option shares) sold by HusCompagniet’s shareholders, including certain funds managed by EQT and certain other shareholders. There is an overallotment option in respect of an additional 1,440,000 shares. With an offer price set at DKK 117 per share, the gross proceeds to the selling shareholders (assuming no exercise of the overallotment option) amounted to approximately DKK 1.12 billion (approximately $178 million).
HusCompagniet is a leading provider of single-family detached houses in Denmark. HusCompagniet’s core activity is the entire customer journey from inspiration, design, sale and delivery of customizable high-quality detached houses in Denmark to consumers, built on-site on customer-owned land. HusCompagniet also designs, sells and delivers semi-detached houses in Denmark to consumers and to professional investors, who either lease or sell the houses to end-users. HusCompagniet is also present in Sweden. HusCompagniet has 16 offices and approximately 437 employees based in Denmark.
