We are advising Lightyear Capital on the acquisition

Davis Polk is advising Lightyear Capital on its acquisition of U.K. wealth management firm Wren Sterling from Palatine Private Equity and others. The transaction is subject to FCA approval. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2000, Lightyear Capital is a financial services-focused private equity firm based in New York. Wren Sterling is a national firm of independent financial planners with seven U.K. offices and over £4.6 billion in assets under advice. Wren Sterling advises thousands of individuals and businesses across the United Kingdom on every aspect of financial planning including pensions, investments, protection, estate planning and employee benefits.
