We are advising MSCI on the acquisition

Davis Polk is advising MSCI Inc. on the acquisition of Trove Research, a specialist data, analysis and advisory firm. The transaction is expected to close by yearend 2023, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Since 2020, Trove Research has focused exclusively on tracking corporate climate commitments and providing high quality data and insights into the voluntary carbon market through a single, unified platform.
