The new shares are listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen

Davis Polk advised the joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners on a rights offering by NKT A/S of 10,744,009 new shares. The offering consisted of a public offering in Denmark and a private placement to institutional investors outside of Denmark, including in the United States. The offering raised gross proceeds of approximately DKK 2.7 billion. The new shares have been admitted to trading and official listing on Nasdaq Copenhagen.

NKT, founded in 1891, is a Danish industrial holding company with interests in power cables and wires as well as optical components, lasers and photonic crystal fibers.
