VF $2.1 billion acquisition of Supreme Holdings
Davis Polk is advising V.F. Corporation on its $2.1 billion acquisition of Supreme Holdings, Inc. Carlyle Group Inc. and Goode Partners LLC are selling their stakes in Supreme as part of the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of the year.
Based in Denver, Colorado, VF is a global leader in the design, production, procurement, marketing and distribution of branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and related products. VF owns a broad portfolio of brands in the outerwear, footwear, backpack, luggage, accessory, occupational and performance apparel categories. VF’s largest brands are Vans, The North Face and Timberland. Supreme sells apparel, accessories and footwear under its namesake brand globally through direct-to-consumer channels, primarily digital. The Supreme brand’s founder, James Jebbia and the senior leadership team of the brand will remain with the company, headquartered in New York City, New York.
