Williams $950 million acquisition of Haynesville assets from Trace Midstream

Davis Polk is advising The Williams Companies, Inc. on its $950 million acquisition of the Haynesville gathering and processing assets of Trace Midstream, a portfolio company of Quantum Energy Partners. As part of the transaction, Trace customer and Quantum affiliate Rockcliff Energy has agreed to a long-term commitment in support of Williams’ Louisiana Energy Gateway project. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to regulatory approvals.
