Davis Polk partner Dan Stipano was quoted in the Wall Street Journal on the challenges banks looking to merge could face if a review of regulations around bank mergers moves forward. “The bottom line is it’s going to be a lot harder to do these deals,” Dan said. He noted that bank merger deals will not stop completely but that banks can expect to make a lot of commitments in the future.
