Davis Polk counsel Aryeh Falk and associate Gene Goldmintz were named to the Volunteers of Legal Service’s (VOLS) “2021 Pro Bono Dean’s List.” Aryeh and Gene were honored in recognition of their pro bono work for a small business owner in New York City who was significantly and negatively impacted by the shutdown of his business due to the pandemic. Their work involved explaining the complex interplay of bankruptcy law, corporate law principles and small business loan documentation.

The VOLS “2021 Pro Bono Dean’s List” recognizes the hardworking and dedicated attorneys “who have helped to keep our community afloat through pro bono service” to New York City’s underserved communities over the past year.

The honorees were announced on October 26, 2021.
